Hydrangea

No wonder that hydrangeas are called the best shrubs in the world and that must be why they are said to symbolize “boastfulness”. In the language of flowers, hydrangeas signify heartlessness, but on a piece of Fenton glass, they represent beauty and romance. Hydrangeas are also said to represent boldness and devotion and that makes them ideal gift for your superiors especially your boss and a meaningful gift worth expressing your devotion can impress him too.

Hydrangeas are known by the same name botanically too but their common name is “snowball”. Hydrangeas bloom throughout summer and fall and hence are called “summer beauty”. They have large bold leaves and large clusters of flowers. Flower clusters may contain sterile or fertile flowers. Hydrangeas are natives of Japan. Common names include Big leaf Hydrangea, French Hydrangea, Lacecap Hydrangea, Hydrangea has been cultivated for many years as an ornamental plant in Japan ,they may bloom in blue or dark purple in white or dull green, and pink depending upon the soil. White symbolizes purity, but it performs much more than a purifying function in the garden. Pink hydrangeas are a warm and vibrant in color and can also be an icy. Pastel pinks, on the other hand, are serene and soothing and is an essential color for a beautiful garden. Pink hydrangea varieties range from pastel pink to bubble gum pink to rose pink to pink with red overtones. Crimson and red are great colors for hydrangeas and are often combined with darker foliage such as is the case with “Preziosia” and its look-alike “Lady in Red”.
